AFTERCARE
Wet Heal

For the wet heal process, your artist will apply a medical adhesive bandage over your tattoo. This bandage acts as a protective layer (your "scab") and can stay on for 1-7 days, moving you straight into 'Day 3-7' of the Dry Heal stages.

The bandage enables carefree healing because it:

-
Is water-resistant
-
Allows your skin to breathe through micropores
-
Keeps dirt and grime away from the tattoo
-
Promotes immediate healing

If you can keep the bandage on for the full 7 days, your tattoo will be well on its way to healing.

If you notice any sweat building up beneath the bandage, remove it to prevent irritation.

If the bandage falls off before 7 days, don't worry. You can switch to the Dry Heal method and follow those steps instead.

How to Remove the Bandage

-
Run warm water over the bandage to loosen the adhesive.
-
Start peeling up a corner, then gently pull and stretch the adhesive away from the tattoo to break the seal.
-
Let soap and water slip under the bandage to ease removal.
-
Avoid peeling back directly from the tattoo, as this could remove healing skin.
